Rustic Napkin Rings
Make these gorgeous rustic napkin rings using hessian fabric and Glue Dots. Finished with Australian native flowers and foliage, this place setting is equally at home on a wedding table or at an Aussie Christmas dinner.
Step 1
For this project you will need:
- Glue Dots – Permanent
- Hessian Fabric
- Scissors
- Kraft Place Cards
- Native Flowers & Foliage
Step 2
Cut a strip of hessian fabric and place two Glue Dots at one end.
Step 3
Wrap the hessian into a ring or collar shape and press down firmly on the Glue Dots. You can create a ring for a traditional shape or create an asymmetrical collar shape for a more rustic look.
Step 4
Attach a place card to the front of your napkin ring using a Glue Dot. Pass a napkin through the ring – we used a gorgeous celadon hued napkin to complement our native blooms.
Step 5
Finish your napkin ring with a sprig of blue gum and a native blossom.
Step 6
Set the table with more native blooms, rustic placemats and a candle or two.
