Bunny Bunting
Equally at home in the nursery as they are as an Easter Decoration, this bunny bunting with sweet pompom tails is so pretty you will want to keep it all year round.
Choose papers to suit your décor, paying attention to how the patterns work together. Collect your supplies and in no time at all you will have a string of sweet bunnies to decorate your home. Protect your walls and easily hang your bunting with Glue Dots Hang Tabs.
Step 1: Gather your materials
For this project you will need:
- Extra Strength Glue Dots, Mini Glue Dots & Glue dots Hang Tabs
- White Wool
- String
- Patterned paper
- A rabbit template
- Scissors
- Table fork
Step 2: Make the pom poms
Wind the wool around the tines of a fork and tie firmly in the centre. Slide off the fork and cut the loped wool. Fluff up your pompom until it is a uniform round shape, trimming off uneven strands if necessary.
Step 3: Trace your template
Use your template to trace the bunny shape onto your patterned paper. Cut out the bunnies.
Step 4: Attach the tails
Use an extra strength glue dot to attach the pompom tails.
Step 5: Attach bunnies to string
String your bunnies up with mini glue dots placed at the back of each ear.
Step 6: Hang your bunting
Place a Glue Dots Hang Tab on the wall and tie to the hang tab. Attach the other end to a second hang tab.
