International Women’s Day Morning Tea

Welcome guests to your International Women’s Day morning tea with a framed inspirational quote. Decorate the frame with foliage and beautiful handmade flowers using Glue Dots.

Step 1: Gather your materials

For this project you will need:

• Permanent Glue Dots & All Purpose Glue Dots
• Crepe Paper in 2 Shades of Pink & Yellow
• An Old Picture Frame
• Artificial Foliage
• Printed Inspirational Quote
• Scissors

Step 2: Apply Glue Dots

Apply all purpose Glue Dots to the back of the artificial foliage

Step 3: Attach foliage

Attach foliage to the corners of your picture frame. Press firmly to activate the Glue Dot for a strong hold.

Step 4: Cut flower parts

Layer a small strip of yellow paper and cut a fringe (see image). Cut petals from the pink papers, making the pale pink slightly smaller.

Step 5: Craft a flower

Roll the fringed paper to form a pollen stamen for the centre of the flower & secure with a permanent Glue Dot. Add a few rows of light pink petals, attaching each with a single Glue Dot.

Step 6: Finish with darker petals

Repeat for the darker pink petals to complete your flower.

Step 7: Attach a quote

Attach the printed quote to the back of your frame with permanent Glue Dots and place inside the frame.

Step 8: Finish your frame

Attach your crafted flowers to the frame using All Purpose Glue Dots to finish your sign.
