Wildflower Seed Tags
Swing into spring with these pretty Wildflower Gift Tags. A few Glue Dots make crepe paper blossoms an easy craft, and with a cluster of seeds at their centre, these tags can be planted in the garden! As the paper breaks down into the soil, the seeds will grow into a beautiful wildflower display in spring.
Step 1: Gather your materials
For this project you will need:
- Mini & Permanent Glue Dots
- Kraft swing tags
- Crepe paper streamers
- Wildflower seeds
- Raffia
- Scissors
Step 2: Cut the petals
Concertina fold the crepe paper streamer. Cut out the petal shape from the crepe paper.
Step 3: Place Glue Dots
Place two Permanent Glue Dots and three Mini Glue Dots on the tag.
Step 4: Place the petals
Work your way around the edge of the Glue Dot, pressing the petals to the outer rim of the dot.
Step 5: Add the seeds
Carefully place a second Glue Dot over the top of the first, pressing down firmly. Press the wildflower seeds into the centre of the swing tag and finish with a natural raffia tie.
Planting your gift tag
To plant in the garden, soak the entire card in water for 15 mins and then plant directly into the soil.
