Paper Christmas Decorations
Whip up Christmas decorations in next to no time with Glue Lines and Glue Squares! These decorations are so effective and very easy to make. We used striking patterned paper from K-Mart Australia – a great alternative to traditional colours, and made simple branches to hang them from with Porta timber dowel.
Step 1: Gather your materials
For this project you will need:
- Permanent Glue Squares & Glue Dots Glue Lines
- Patterned Paper
- Scissors
- Pencil
- String
Step 2: Trace and cut circles
Use a small glass to trace circles on the reverse side of your paper. You will need 8 different paper circles for each decoration.
Step 3: Fold circle inwards
Each circle should be folded in half so that the pattern is on the inside of the fold.
Step 4: Place Glue Lines along the folds
Place a glue line along the fold and use to attach a loop of sting. This will be used to hang your ornament once complete.
Step 5: Attach your Glue Squares
Attach Glue Squares and a Glue Line down the centre.
Step 6: Add another folded circle
Carefully line up your next folded circle and press firmly to adhere to the glue squares. Continue by repeating step 5 and step 6 until you have added all of the paper circles.
Step 5: Finish your decoration
Attach the final circle to the first to complete the sphere shape and finish your decoration.
