It’s winter in Australia and the perfect time to rug up and head outside for a mythical creature hunt! Collect sticks, fallen leaves and interesting blooms to create fun mythical creature wall art. This is the perfect project to capture your kids creativity and allow their imaginations to run wild!

Step 1

For this project you will need:

• Glue Dots – Permanent
• Sticks, Leaves and Flowers
• Paper
• Drawing Tools

Step 2

Cut a length of paper to size (we used craft paper on a roll).

Step 3

Use Glue Dots to attach sticks to the top and bottom edge of the paper.

Step 4

Attach your natural materials to the paper with Glue Dots.

Step 5

Group items together in a cluster.

Step 6

Play with colours, layers and textures.

Step 7

Use a pen to turn your clusters of leaves and flowers into fun and quirky mythical creatures.

Step 8

Let your imagination run wild and use the natural materials to guide your creativity.

Step 9

Enjoy your child’s artwork until the leaves and flowers fade and dry.
