Fun Name Labels
Grab a pile of old magazines and some scissors and make some fun name labels for back to school. Covering books and adding scrap book elements is a breeze with Glue Dots, available in a range of shapes and sizes.
Step 1: Gather your materials
For this project you will need:
- Glue Dots – we used Glue Squares, Mini dots & Permanent Glue Dots
- Brown Kraft Paper
- Old Magazines
- Scissors
- Marker Pen
Step 2: Cover your book
Cut brown kraft paper to size and cover your exercise book, securing the corners with permanent Glue Dots.
Step 3: Select your elements
Browse through your magazines and select pretty pictures & paper, and fun quotes. Cut out your elements.
Step 4: Layout your design
Play with the placement of your elements until you are happy with your design.
Step 5: Add Glue Dots
Add Glue Dots to the back of each element and press down firmly to hold in place.
Step 5: Attach to your book
Use permanent Glue Dots to attach your name plate to your covered school book. You can cover the entire book in contact paper for a robust, kid friendly finish.
