Campfire Friends Tealight Holder
Make cute tea light holders using river pebbles and Glue Dots. Spending summer weekends outdoors inspired this adorable craft project. Collect pebbles, moss, and other natural treasures and head indoors to create these charming and useful tea light holders.
Step 1
For this project you will need:
- Glue Dots – Permanent
- Clean River Pebbles
- Paper Plate
- Tea Light or Battery Tea Light
- Correction Fluid
- Black Marker
- Scissors
Step 2
Cut the paper plate to match the approximate shape of your finished project. You can trim any excess paper later if you’re not sure what size you would like your finished project to be.
Step 3
Apply a Glue Dot to the bottom of your tea light and firmly attach it to the paper plate.
Step 4
Use more Glue Dots to affix river pebbles around the exterior of your tea light. You can also incorporate firewood and branches for added visual appeal.
Step 5
Continue filling the space on your plate by adding more river pebbles.
Step 6
Use correction fluid and markers to add expressive eyes to a selection of pebbles. Look for stones with character!
Step 7
Arrange the pebble friends around the “campfire”. Use Glue Dots to attach them to the edge of the paper plate, ensuring they sit upright.
Step 8
Use more pebbles, small plants, moss, or artificial plants to fill any remaining gaps. Trim off any excess paper plate.
