Mini Mummy Pinatas
These mini mummy pinatas are a whole lot of cute with only a little bit of spooky! With a handy pull tag for easy opening, they are a fun alternative to party bags. Perfect to hand out to guests at your next Halloween or themed party!
Step 1
For this project you will need:
- Glue Dots – Permanent Dots
- Cardboard Tubes
- String
- Black Paper
- Googly Eyes
- Crepe Paper
- Scissors
Step 2
Cut a piece of string, tie it into a loop and attach to the inside of the carboard tube with a Glue Dot on each side.
Step 3
Cut a pull tab from the black paper and attach to the string by folding in half and adhering with a Glue Dot.
Step 4
Use Glue Dots to attach eyes to the carboard tube.
Step 5
Cut a long thin strip of crepe paper and attach to the cardboard tube with a Glue Dot.
Step 6
Fill the cardboard tube with sweets. Wrap the crepe paper around the tube to encase the sweets and secure with another Glue Dot.
Step 7
Wrap a second layer of crepe paper around the tube to give the appearance of a mummy all wrapped up in bandages with just their eyes peeking out!
Step 8
Pull the string tab to open the pinata. Happy Halloween!
