Winter Seed Pots
The start of winter is the perfect time to gather seeds from your garden – herbs are easy to gather seeds from. These sweet eco pots are a lovely way to store seeds or make a pretty handmade gift.
Step 1: Gather your materials
For this project you will need:
- Glue Dots
- Eco plant pots
- Cardstock and pencils or watercolours
- Wooden Clothes Pegs
- Scissors
- Seeds
Step 2: Make a label
Complete a sketch or watercolour of the plant you have collected your seeds from. Cut out to make some small labels. If drawing is not your thing, you can always download and print some images from the web.
Step 3: Apply the Glue Dot
Carefully place a Glue Dot on the end of a clothes peg. Press firmly to adhere and then peel off the backing. Attach a label to the clothes peg.
Step 4: Package your seeds
Write a label on a small piece of paper and fold around your seeds. We used the corner of an envelope and folded over the top.
Step 5: Seal the package
Seal the seed parcel with a Glue Dot.
Step 6: Finish your pots
Peg labels to the seed pots and place parcel of seeds inside.
