Upcycle packing materials to make this sweet Valentine’s Day Lightbox. Soft diffused candlelight sets the tone for a romantic evening using craft dowels and Glue Dots.

Step 1

For this project you will need:

• Glue Dots – Craft Dots
• Coloured Cardstock
• Synthetic Packing Material
• Square Craft Dowels
• Paint Pens
• A Candle (a battery operated candle can also be used)

Step 2

Using the craft dowels, form a square that is open on one side and secure with Glue Dots. Separately, adhere three dowels together in a row with Glue Dots to form the base.

Step 3

Cut a square screen from the packing material to fit the dowel square.

Step 4

Cut paper hearts and attach to the screen.

Step 5

Write a romantic message and decorate the screen with paint pens. Attach to the frame with Glue Dots.

Step 6

Attach the screen to the base and secure with two more craft dowels so the screen stands upright.

Step 7

Light a candle (or use a battery operated candle) and set behind the lightbox with some fresh flowers.
