Rustic Centrepiece

Add a touch of rustic elegance to your entertaining this summer with the classic combination of hessian and lace. These gorgeous upcycled glass bottles and jars are wrapped in hessian ribbon and finished with a selection of wildflowers for the perfect table centrepiece for a wedding, Christmas or end-of-year function.

Step 1: Gather your materials
For this project you will need:
- Extra Strength Glue Dots
- Hessian and Lace Ribbons
- Clean Jars and Bottles of Various Sizes
- Wild or Store Bought Flowers

Step 2: Measure your ribbon
Measure the circumference of your jars and bottles and cut lengths of hessian ribbon to fit.

Step 3: Attach your Glue Dots
Attach your glue dots by pressing firmly to the glass, then carefully peel off the backing paper. We used two dots for an extra firm hold.

Step 4: Attach your ribbon
Place your pre-cut length or ribbon over the first two glue dots and press firmly to adhere. Wrap the ribbon around your glass vessel and attach the other end with another two glue dots. With no drying time and an extra strength hold, your hessian will stay in place first time.

Step 5: Finish your jars or bottles
Repeat the process for your other jars or bottles. A mixture of shapes and sizes will add depth and interest to your final design.

Step 6: Arrange your flowers
Add a selection of flowers to each vessel, matching the length of the stems to the chosen jar or bottle.
