Pressed Flower Card
Create a blooming gorgeous card using pretty pressed flowers and minimal craft supplies.
Glue Dots are perfect when working with delicate pressed flowers. The firm hold and perfect portion ensure a clean finish every time.
Pressing flowers is a great way to preserve your favourite blooms. To preserve flowers, fold a sheet of parchment paper in half (like a book) and arrange your blooms on one half. Cover with the other parchment half and sandwich inside a heavy book, Allow to dry for around 2-4 weeks depending on the size of your flowers.
Step 1
For this project you will need:
- Glue Dots – Permanent Dots
- Blank Card
- Pressed Flowers
Step 2
Place Glue Dots on the card where you intend to place the blooms.
Step 3
Press the flower firmly onto the Glue Dot. Place flowers over the card, including the edges.
Step 4
Use scissors to trim the edges of the flowers for a perfect fit on the card.
Step 5
Continue with your design, ensuring you add Glue Dots to the card, not to the delicate flowers.
Step 6
Finish by adding a few loose petals. This can balance your design and make it look more natural.
