This friendly starburst lion is made using paint pens and Glue Dots. The brightly painted popsicle sticks will keep small fingers busy on hot summer afternoons!

Step 1

For this project you will need:

• Glue Dots – Permanent Dots
• Kraft Cardstock
• Scissors
• Paint Pens
• Popsicle Sticks

Step 2

Cut out the lion face, ears and whiskers from the Kraft cardstock.

Step 3

Use paint pens to add facial details to the lion’s face.

Step 4

Attach ears and whiskers with Glue Dots.

Step 5

Decorate the popsicle sticks and add a Glue Dot to one end.

Step 6

Press the popsicle sticks to the back of the lion face.

Step 7

Continue adding decorated sticks all the way around the lion to create a colourful starburst mane.
