Lightweight, paper birds make a sweet decoration for a nursery or used on an ‘all seasons’ wreath. Easily crafted from cardstock and Glue Dots, details are added with paint pens.

Step 1

For this project you will need:

• Glue Dots – Mini Dots
• Kraft Cardstock
• String
• Scissors
• Paint Pens

Step 2

Cut a rectangle from the Kraft cardstock.

Step 3

Apply a line of Glue Dots along three sides of the card.

Step 4

Roll the card into a tube and press to adhere the Glue Dots.

Step 5

Seal one end flat.

Step 6

Seal the other end in the opposite direction.

Step 7

Trim one side with a curve for the face, and the tail end with a scalloped edge.

Step 8

Cut wings and a beak then colour with paint pens.

Step 9

Attach details with Glue Dots and draw in the eye and some feathers.

Step 10

Attach a string if would like to hang your birds.
