Keep your buttons (or bits and bobs) tidy with a gloriously bright and colourful button box. This is a great stash buster – using up left over scraps of paper, ribbon, and odds and ends.

Step 1

For this project you will need:

• Glue Dots – Permanent Dots
• Craft or Wooden Box
• Assorted Ribbons
• Assorted Papers

Step 2

Select a pretty image for the top of the box and cut to size.

Step 3

Attach to the top of the box with Glue Dots Permanent Dots.

Step 4

Add a ribbon to the edge of the lid, securing with Glue Dots.

Step 5

Add a second ribbon to the box, contrasting with the first ribbon.

Step 6

Attach a Glue Dot to the remaining box and trim a piece of paper to fit.

Step 7

Wrap the box in bright paper.

Step 8

Cover with a lace ribbon so the colour shows through – layering is key here.

Step 9

Fill your box with trinkets or buttons!
